Thrusday

After a day long divergence yesterday, I'm back on Lewis & Clark. I'm midway through the second of four parts and am finding it easier going than I thought. Working on some digital paintings for it but finding some decent photos too. Would like to get it completed by Monday.

My divergence turned out to be seven digital color sketches on the Underground Railroad. Little reference but pulled them out of thin air in Photoshop using my tablet. Surprised to see my hand get a bit stiff from using it. Must have been awhile since I spent all day drawing! They turned out rather well for averaging about an hour apiece and not having much reference. I've always lacked confidence when I've tried to draw or paint from my imagination but I know there's no other way to get better at it.

Nice MacWorld announcements. Two things I'm pondering: If Apple can make a desktop computer for $499, how much must they be clearing on the $499 iPods? Lastly, too bad the top of the new Mac mini doesn't glow. Now that would be something.
